Here's a chapter from my story...

Clearing out my Mum’s house after she moved to a care home (with Dementia) I found photographs of us together.  They stopped me in my tracks.  They made me cry.  They help me to remember the way she was, forever.   My favourite is now framed and in the studio so I can look at her every day.


So what have I learned from this?  Memories make me smile! I don’t want you to have to feel like this, nobody should regret not having these memories to make them smile. 


I’m a qualified member of the Master Photographer’s Association which means I can give you the best results from your photoshoot.  I receive regular training and my images are critiqued which keeps me on my toes!


Being in business for 15 years means that I have cuddled countless babies, chased cheeky toddlers and had fun with numerous families.  Here’s to the next 15!

What to expect from your photo shoot...

It's time to tell your story

Every photoshoot is different, every family has their own story to tell which makes their collection of photographs so unique.


My studio is a gorgeous log cabin in my garden in Braintree, Essex.  It is a custom design, built in May 2018, complete with underfloor heating and air-conditioning which means that it's perfect for photoshoots all year round..  The fact that it's in my garden means that I can offer outdoor shoots in the Summer too, and it's perfectly safe for any little siblings who fancy a run around on the grass!  It's not unusual for the cats to be wandering around although, much to their disgust, they're not allowed in the studio unless they book a photo session!


When the weather is warmer I am able to offer photo sessions in the garden under a gazebo.  This gives a very natural look to the photography and being outside enjoying a warm breeze is incredibly relaxing!  Whether we're in the studio or the garden (or both!) you can switch off from the outside world and enjoy a relaxing shoot together. There's no rush, no clock watching...just you and your family making special memories.

JUST FOR YOU

Bring along any special items such as toys or blankets to the shoot.  It's lovely to include them in your photographs.

FAMILY TOGETHER

A relaxed photoshoot with your amazing new baby will be something you treasure and enjoy for years to come.

SIMPLE AND NATURAL

Your baby can be asleep or awake, it doesn't matter as the photoshoot is completely natural.  Who doesn't love those beautiful big eyes?

  • Newborn Photoshoot Ideas

    Your baby will be captured in a very natural way without too many poses or props.  However if there's an idea that you've seen then we can chat about it in your pre shoot Zoom consultation.

  • What if my baby cries?

    I’m asked this all the time.  If your baby cries a little it probably means that they need something! You can feed and change as much as you need to , there's no time pressure so we can take as long as we like.  

  • How do we choose the photos for our wall?

    I love looking through your photos and choosing the ones that will look great in your final collection.   Seeing your story come together is magical and giving you a family legacy to enjoy for years to come is wonderful.   When you come to see your photographs we go through them and I help you make your choices. 

  • Photoshoot Outfit Ideas

    What you choose to wear can make a huge difference to your photographs which is why we have a pre shoot consultation to chat about your session and what you and your baby will wear.  I strongly suggest bringing your outfits with you rather than wearing them.  You know what babies can do to our best clothes!  

  • How long does a session last?

    I always suggest allowing around two to three  hours.  I never book anyone in on the same day as  you so that there’s absolutely no pressure and no rush.  

  • Can the whole family join in?

    Absolutely!  No one will want to be left out, this is for everyone…including the family dog!

  • What kind of things can we bring?

    It’s lovely to include your child’s favourite things in your collection, we’ve had giant teddy bears, huge helium balloons and heirlooms such as a blanket that’s been handed down through the generation
