Let's talk naturally sweetened cake...
Give them a cake they will LOVE!
By the time your little one reaches their first birthday they probably won't have been introduced to the world of refined sugar. Instead they'll have grown to love fruit, yoghurt and all those delicious natural flavours. So, why would you want to give them a cake full of unfamiliar flavours for their first birthday photoshoot?
I am talking from experience here! For years cake smash cakes were iced with very sweet toppings and babies took one taste and rejected the rest. I now work with a superb baker who has developed and makes her own oat flour and includes ingredients such as maple syrup and of course the delicious yoghurt topping which can be in the colour of your choice. Yum! Babies love it (actually I do too!) and they more than are happy to get stuck in. The downside? There might not be much left for you to take home!
Does your child have allergies or dietary requirements? No problem, one of the cakes pictured here is completely dairy free.

Here's a chapter from my story...
Clearing out my Mum’s house after she moved to a care home (with Dementia) I found photographs of us together. They stopped me in my tracks. They made me cry. They help me to remember the way she was, forever. My favourite is now framed and in the studio so I can look at her every day.
So what have I learned from this? Memories make me smile! I don’t want you to have to feel like this, nobody should regret not having these memories to make them smile.
I’m a qualified member of the Master Photographer’s Association which means I can give you the best results from your photoshoot. I receive regular training and my images are critiqued which keeps me on my toes!
Being in business for 15 years means that I have cuddled countless babies, chased cheeky toddlers and had fun with numerous families. Here’s to the next 15!

After having our newborn shoot we returned to Sally a year later for Sophia’s 1st Birthday. My parents were visiting so we got some beautiful photos with them too. The cake was gorgeous, our photos are stunning, we can’t wait to come back!

It's time to tell your story
Let's start creating your unique story that you can cherish forever by telling me about your family, what you enjoy doing together, and your little one's favourite toys. Choose your preferred cake colours, discuss special outfits, and gather their treasured toys. We'll take some family portraits of all of you together, it’s my job to make your little one laugh and giggle during their special birthday portrait. There's no need for fake smiles here!
Then it's time for cake! Amazing yoghurt topped naturally sweetened cake that is adored by little ones. At this early age, refined sugar isn't as tasty to them as it is to us which is why I provide a professionally made cake with familiar flavours especially made for you. Allergies intolerances can of course be accommodated too.
Don't worry, you'll go home with a clean baby after they have fun cleaning up in their splashy bath. Lots of bubbles, rubber ducks and lots of fun. A snooze on the way home is almost guaranteed!
We do of course go at the pace of your little one, so there's no rushing or clock watching. If they need a little explore of the studio, a snack or even a nap then that's fine. It's their Birthday after all
