Beautiful little Grace, just 8 days old, visited the cosy log cabin studio for her natural light Newborn Experience. As natural as you can get it with minimal props, simple beautiful wraps and lots of gorgeous natural light flooding in through the large windows and doors. No cables trailing, no light stands to avoid, no bright flashes…just little Grace on the comfy beanbag and the peace and calm that being in the log cabin studio brings.
Grace was an alert little baby, amazing for just 8 days old. She laid on the beanbag, completely content and happy. A lovely opportunity to get some images whilst she had her eyes open.
I love capturing detail like these little toes whilst Grace was having a good stretch.
After a little feed (well quite a big feed actually!) Grace drifted off into dreamland..
I love using Daddy’s hands for this shot, to me it portrays protectiveness, support and love for this precious new life.
And not forgetting Grace’s lovely parents, Megan & Andy..
I spent 2-3 hours with this lovely couple capturing these shots of little Grace. A good amount of the time is spent feeding and settling the baby..and of course chatting too! It’s a very relaxed session in a cosy warm studio. The log cabin studio is in the garden, perfect for a little fresh air in this warm weather!
Thanks to Megan & Andy for bringing Grace along for her natural light Newborn Experience. It was lovely to meet you all 🙂
