Learn how to take control of your camera and capture great photographs.
My photo workshops will give you a chance to learn and, more importantly, practice using different settings giving amazing results.
You don’t need a ‘posh’ camera to enjoy the day. You’ll need a camera that allows you to use manual controls and some compact cameras have this facility. If in doubt give me a call, I’d be delighted to ‘talk cameras’.

- Freezing and blurring the action
- Understanding available light
- How to blur the background
- Creating crisp, sharp images
- Lots and lots of practice!

The Next Level One day practical outdoor photography workshop.
Can’t quite remember the manual functions? Don’t worry, we start the day with a practical refresher in Colchester’s picturesque Castle Park. We’ll then introduce you to exposure compensation, introduce you to the flash on your camera and the manual button. There’ll be plenty of chance to practice and perfect your photography.
